The property sits in the safest part of the woods. Manager Mr Nishantha Manoj was extremely helpful, made our stay easy and warm, and offered the best hospitality. For a nature lover this view is wonderful. The bed for the third person was a little not comfortable and the monkeys on the roof were a bit disturbing at night.

Room and facilities were commendable. Staff was friendly. Location was photo‑worthy. Lots of mosquitoes. Overall the hotel needs some improvements.

The property is large and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, with a river nearby. There is a small pool, maybe a bit far from the property, which we didn’t use. Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast lacks sweets, but has fruit and savory items. Dinner is very good, though service isn’t very fast, which is common to many Sri Lankan properties. The room is clean, with a slightly loose door. For us the stay was more than sufficient.

Only the bell boy and the F&B guy served us tea. The receptionist was not bothered when we told him about our bad experience. Bed linen and towels were dirty. The room stank. The toilet and bathroom were dirty. Mosquitoes were everywhere.

I had a decent stay at this hotel, with the staff being attentive and helpful in meeting our needs. However, there were a few issues that let the experience down - we struggled to find chilled water or cool drinks, and the shower area was quite basic, lacking a cubicle or curtain, which made it slippery and hazardous.
