Overall it was good, the location was good, and it was clean. The kitchen emitted a very bad smell all the time.

I was shocked by the filthy condition of the room, with no soundproofing at all—every step echoed up to the floor above—and the outdoor area was also dirty.

The neighborhood feels like a typical residential area, but it’s far from the metro; you have to take a bus to reach the nearest station on the District line.

Nothing positive to mention. The location was fairly convenient, yet I was warned to leave a review during an investigation, so I’m doing so to warn others. We struggled to find the access codes, with two numbers listed but the owner never responded to my messages. Eventually, the codes were hidden in the app instead of an email as promised, and we were shocked to discover the room hadn’t been cleaned. A strong damp and musty odor hit us as we entered, with a dirty mascara stain on the unchanged bedding, hair and urine stains in the bathroom, a filthy carpet, and a garden full of rotting fruit. Worse, we found black mold around the window frames. The place was unsanitary and unsafe, so we had no choice but to leave London that night. The owner promised to call, but they claim my number is wrong in the app—yet it isn’t, and I’ve texted them twice. We ended up driving back to Wales because we had nowhere safe to stay. Avoid at all costs.
