We loved everything! The location was credible, we did a hiking trail with owner Larcen, which was fabulous, the dinner was super, the breakfast had homemade jam of the season and figs, we were right in nature, definitely worth coming back!

The views from the gîte were stunning, overlooking the mountains in every direction. Unfortunately, the location was a bit of a letdown - it's actually 15 kilometers from Setti Fadma, and you'll need a 4x4 or a long hike up a steep hill to get there. To make matters worse, the host was unfriendly and uncommunicative, and seemed to have a problem with solo female travelers.

The location was perfect for hiking, with trails right on our doorstep. However, once we'd exhausted ourselves on the trails, we found ourselves with nothing to do but relax. The isolation was actually a blessing in disguise, but it's worth noting that there are no restaurants or shops for miles, so you'll need to be self-sufficient. The map view on the booking site was a bit misleading, too - we needed a 4x4 to access the property, or a two-mile hike up a steep hill.

I had an amazing time at this place - everything was just perfect. Our host was absolutely wonderful, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home.
