“I would stay here any time I plan to visit Old Town.”
The afternoon and night shift front‑desk crew were warm and helpful, and my room was immaculate with a bed and bedding that felt like a dream—no other hotel pillow has matched that comfort. I appreciated that housekeeping came only when I requested it, so I had my privacy. The AC was superb, providing enough white noise to mask the freeway. The pool area was tidy and convenient, and the continental breakfast offered a decent spread, though options were limited for gluten‑free diners; they did include fruit, yogurt, Cheerios, and more. Plenty of TV channels were available, parking was easy, and the shower was excellent with basic toiletries supplied. On the downside, the day‑shift staff were cold and unfriendly. When I called the morning of my arrival to confirm my reservation, the answering lady was rude. On the morning of departure, I asked the front desk for toilet paper, and the lady barely looked up from her computer, avoided eye contact, and treated me as if I were bothering her. I also felt the hotel didn’t provide enough toilet paper; a single roll for two people over two nights is insufficient, especially if you don’t have daily maid service. Additionally, the mini‑fridge in our room was useless because its door wouldn’t seal.
