Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer in einer wunderbaren alten Villa mitten in Avellino. Alles war sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war modern, sehr schön ausgestattet und wirklich tipptopp. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt

The room was welcoming and comfortable. I didn’t like that the building had no elevator, and that should be mentioned in the description. Unfortunately I found a dirty towel.

The room was very clean, but the bathroom was extremely noisy whenever water was used for washing hands, showering, or flushing the toilet. We were asked to pay a city tax even though the description said it was already included.

The spot is spot‑on, right on the main street, and the room or apartment is the right size and very quiet. The cleaning service only comes at the end of the stay, which is odd and inconvenient for a family staying four nights; at least an extra set of towels and a broom and dustpan for daily tidying would help, because you’ll inevitably have to pick up stuff (I’m thinking of hair, for example). If you book as a B&B, breakfast should be included, but there were only a few biscuits and tea bags, plus a single pack of cookies for three people. In that case the rate should be for “apartment” and not B&B. I ended up eating breakfast elsewhere every day. It would be good to have vouchers or a partnership with a local bar (like Nolurè). Also, carrying luggage up two flights of stairs was a hassle.
