The outdoor area and pool were fantastic, with beautiful gardens and dining spots and views of Provence, but our room spanned three levels with low bathroom ceilings and stairs; more windows would have let us see the view better.

The location was wonderful, the Mega Ambiente impressive, the rooms stylish and the cat adorable; everything pleased me.

We had a mixed experience. First, we didn’t realize when booking that our room had no terrace, so we should have been more careful. Also, the name “Suite 1 chambre” felt misleading; it really isn’t a suite because there isn’t a real living area. The living room is just a sofa‑bed when four people stay, leaving no space to eat or relax—essentially a bedroom for sleeping. The most disappointing part was our last evening. We expected to dine in the cellar with charcuterie and cheese, but at 21 h we were told there was nothing left to serve. Most nearby restaurants were already closed, so after a good wine tasting we ended up at McDonald’s, which was far from what we wanted. The next day we expressed our disappointment, and the only reply was a simple “sorry”; the manager then explained that the employee who should have ordered the food was on sick leave the previous week. We found that excuse clumsy and it felt inappropriate to blame an employee on sick leave. Breakfast was adequate but limited for a place that claims a fairly upscale level, which is a shame because the setting is nice and the wine tasting is a real highlight. Unfortunately, these issues spoiled our stay, and we won’t return.

We absolutely loved the rural charm of Domaine Perréal; the grounds and surrounding area are stunning, quiet, secluded, and great for day trips. We enjoyed evenings by the pool and on the terrace. Unfortunately, we booked while the on‑site bar and restaurant were closed, so it would have been better to have easier access to evening snacks and drinks.
