I paid a lot of attention to the owner, who was a sweetheart and treated us super well—nothing to say. The location was ideal, really close to everything, super. I don’t like that on Booking you can’t see the exact location, and the truth is that when you arrive for the first time it’s a bit scary, but after that it’s very Thai; it’s a hotel on a street in the center of Bangkok, very rustic, but I don’t regret the reservation at all.

Getting to the biggest market and malls is easy, and you can also find street food within a 3‑minute walk. The owner gave me a big family room for just an extra 200 baht, which was great.

The water was good and the towels were plentiful, but the shower and toilet were cramped.

The host was disgraceful and predatory. They tried to scam us into paying 50 % more per night for a bigger room because, apparently, there was a tenant in our room who wanted to stay longer. We booked this NON‑REFUNDABLE room weeks in advance—how can we be justified to pay more because of a (probably nonexistent) tenant? Kick him out! Force him into another room! Or offer us a different room at the same rate. Then the host lied, promising to refund our room (which never happened), and lied to customer support about the situation, forcing us to chargeback our credit card. I almost forgot—the more expensive room she offered us was literally flooded with water and had a broken A/C. Certainly worth that extra cost she wanted… I’m not sure why this place is allowed to exist or has any positive reviews at all. Probably hates foreigners or has fake reviews. Avoid at all cost unless you’re extremely desperate or can appeal to the owners’ prejudices, I suppose. Or have a backup property when this one inevitably disappoints you.
