The kitchen is incredible, the facilities are great, and the communal space is super clean and nice. Located right in the centre, the bedsheets felt a bit used but overall the bed was comfortable. The staff came across as a bit rude and not welcoming during our stay.

The location is fantastic, just two blocks from the lake, downtown, and supermarkets. I loved the vibe of the place and the bed was super comfy. I parked my car for free the whole two nights in the hostel’s internal parking. The female room with ensuite was incredibly comfortable. I arrived after hours for check‑in and they sent me an email with all the details to access the hostel and my room. The reception hours feel a bit tight; I had to wait until 9 am the next day to pay after arriving around 5 or 6 pm, even though the place is geared toward early‑morning hikers. A longer opening time would help, and a sign to keep noise down in the hallways would be useful—last weekend a huge group of teenagers were shouting and it could be heard in the rooms.

I love how clean everything is; the kitchen is the best I've seen so far, and the whole facility feels new and homely. The bedding isn’t that comfortable.
