The interior is really charming and the owners clearly know their business – they’re super friendly too. We rolled in on our bikes during a storm, had no dinner, and they still managed to sort us a hot meal after our soggy ride. The next morning the breakfast was fantastic: warm rolls, tasty spreads and good jam.

Benoît and Isabelle (they speak French, English and Dutch) were welcoming and gave us solid tips for walking around the area. We stayed in the sauna‑room with an outdoor shower, woke up to birds singing, and had breakfast delivered to the garden – fresh local produce served on handmade ceramic plates. The bed was comfy, the lack of air‑conditioning didn’t bother us despite the 32‑36 °C heat, and they even helped us fix a car issue on arrival.

A quiet spot with sweet owners and a tasty breakfast, but the downside is that the breakfast menu never changes – it’s the same thing every morning, even though it’s nicely presented.

The location is unbelievably peaceful and we loved every detail, especially the warm hospitality from Isabel and Benoît and the excellent breakfast. The sauna at sunset was definitely the highlight of our stay.
