Very well located with a good vibe in a rural setting, and very close to the national park.

The staff Shahid and Kamla were very hospitable and friendly, doing everything they could to make us comfortable. The place itself is okay, not really wild. However, it’s not worth the price charged; there was no water in the shower, let alone hot water. The bathroom needs repairs and the bedrooms need mosquito nets. Not everyone sleeps in AC.

The accommodation was great in nature, the room was large and very comfortable. The pair of caretakers, even though their English was a bit shaky, made our stay very pleasant, especially from the kitchen side.

The bed was comfortable. It was dirty and smelled like a place that hadn’t been occupied for months. The whole hotel feels abandoned. I complained and want a refund because I was charged GBP 180 for two rooms for one night, which is insane. I expected luxury for that price in this country. We’ve stayed in five other places that were far cheaper and offered rooms with visible lights, a dining experience with lights, and a working fan. Paths to rooms were broken up and left to grow weeds, so there were no paths. The river that other reviews praise is fine, but you have to avoid an electric fence and then a rudimentary water pump has been installed for the hotel from the river. That probably explains the hundreds of frogs in the bathroom and the toilet. If you want rustic, go somewhere else. If you want forgotten and overpriced, this is for you. The staff barely spoke English, so asking for water or lights to be turned on was tricky.

The home‑cooked food was incredible, and we had three meals a day, plus coffee at 5am before our safari!
