I absolutely loved the hotel’s location and the view from the room. You can walk or take a short ride to most places you want to see in Thimphu; it’s a central hub right in front of the football ground, giving an unobstructed view of the mountains, which is lovely. The staff are very warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is mostly Indian items on repeat, which is understandable given their footfall, but a bit more variety would be great.

The hotel's prime location and breathtaking views of the Buddha statue made for a memorable stay, but the bathroom's water heating capacity and expensive food options left some room for improvement.
