Casamicciola sits nicely between the bustling Ischia port and Forio, and the hotel terrace was lovely. Breakfast was an added bonus. However, the hotel feels a bit old‑fashioned and seems aimed at older guests, even though it’s clean and well-equipped. After a long day touring the island, I returned late only to find the terrace bar closed at 11:00 pm. A drying rack on the balcony would have been useful.
