The staff were kind and available, and the whole site was remarkably well maintained. The pool was cleaned each morning by a dedicated staff member, and the poolside was wiped down by hand every morning – something I had never seen before. Maintenance staff cleaned all the pool loungers with a disinfectant oil. The gardens were tended daily. A dedicated shuttle boat took guests to the island across the water for beach time. There was a small chapel, a museum dedicated to the site’s heritage, and an old school turned into a kids’ play area. The grounds were filled with birds whose songs added to the stay. Everything was perfect.

L'établissement est atypique et situé dans un lieu sauvage et naturel au bord de la Ria Formosa. Spa, piscine, environnement magnifique, chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner et dîner sous forme de self. Les plats étaient très bons au vu du rapport qualité prix excellent. Le personnel a été au petit soin. Eau et petite attention dans la chambre à notre arrivée. Aucune nuisance sonore en cette période d'octobre. La climatisation fonctionnait bien et les rideaux étaient bien occultants. Le site est luxuriant. Tout était parfait. Il serait toutefois judicieux de rafraîchir les chambres qui vieillissent (carrelage, sanitaires, rideaux, literie). Les extérieurs quant à eux sont splendides
