“Nuit normande étoilée”
We were looking for a quiet spot to enjoy the Perseids night, away from the city and light pollution. The cottage run by Shirley and Stéphane instantly won us over, especially their warm welcome and attentive care throughout. The place was spotless inside and out, and our room was immaculate; the stone walls kept it cool even in the heat, which was a real delight. The location is simply outstanding—no light pollution, just step outside, look up, and see a breathtaking sky. Sitting on the outdoor furniture, we watched shooting stars under perfect conditions. When we first looked up, we wondered if we’d ever seen such a beautiful sky before. Shirley and Stéphane were lovely, available, and flexible from start to finish. The breakfast Shirley made, served whenever we wanted, was generous and featured beautiful Norman products—exactly what we needed to recharge before a day of hiking. Stéphane also introduced us to the other areas of the estate, usually reserved for big events and weddings. We especially appreciated him taking the time to show us the place and talk about their project; you can feel his genuine passion. There’s also a clear complementarity between Shirley and Stéphane in how they run the place. Behind this wonderful cottage, you can sense a lot of hard work, investment, and heart, which really deserves recognition. We sincerely wish them great success with this beautiful project and a long continuation! An address we’ll keep close to heart! (💍😉🤞🏼)
