The bathroom in our room was fine. It needed a lot of fixing, fresh paint and carpentry work. It was dusty and we had to plug in electric heaters to stay warm. The bed needed a new mattress. The innkeeper talked too much. The blinds in unused rooms were stained and cluttered with junk – a real turnoff. There were a lot of small antiques but they felt junky.

The hosts were extremely nice. Our room was roomy and well decorated. The included breakfast was lovingly prepared for everyone. I’d stay again if I ever came back.

The hospitality went above and beyond. We had a wonderful breakfast and got to meet other guests, swapping stories and insights about the area. Jon and Janette are awesome hosts. When you think of what a bed and breakfast should be like – this is it! We’ll definitely come back and plan a longer stay. Thanks again.
