“Très déçue”
The breakfast was pretty and the friendly lady took us to the village restaurant, the only one available (no choice). The spot for two bikes was convenient. We didn’t find the traditional Japanese vibe or the atmosphere of a typical Japanese house that we read about. The simple room was cold, European‑style, with two old single beds in an old room, not clean, full of dust. The bathroom had a very special system like a grandmother’s, which made us uncomfortable. That’s why we rented a room for two in a Japanese house—to experience Japanese style, culture, ambiance, and traditions, and unfortunately we found none except the shoe‑rack at the entrance.
