The breakfast was excellent, but the rooms looked tired, the parking was just a rough dirt patch, the toilet didn’t have enough water to flush properly, and there was a lot of road noise.

I appreciated the quietness, the beautiful gardens, and the fact that the farm has a restaurant; Coenie at reception was exceptional, Ciska at the restaurant was excellent, and the Restaurant Manager was so good—she gave great advice on things to do.

The staff were friendly and the area is beautiful, but there was road noise and the new restaurant staff need training.

The place works well as a getaway spot. The staff were top‑class, and the dinner and breakfast meals were tasty. The only drawbacks were the unavoidable road noise and the bright lights that spill into rooms at night; one of our rooms had no windows, so fresh air was a bit hard to get.

The breakfast and dinner were very good. It was a shame that we felt chased out of the dining room after dinner by our waitress, who was yawning and leaning on the reception desk in a way that clearly showed she wanted us to finish up and leave.
