“Très vieux et très peu rénové … prix extrêmement élevé pour la qualité de la chambre”
Very old and hardly renovated, with an extremely high price for the quality of the room, and the hotel didn’t even have soap.
“Comfortable. Several buses to downtown and the tourist area of Ottawa.”
The apartment is comfortable with a spacious bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen; breakfast is very good, and several bus lines near the hotel give access to Ottawa’s commercial district, tourist area, and the train that connects to the main train and bus station. The building needs repairs and revitalization, and the pool and sauna are closed.
The location was perfect for what we needed, but the pool and hot tub were under renovation without any prior notice, and the hotel smelled bad because of construction.
We paid 310 € for a quadruple (2 adults and 2 children, room with 2 double beds) for 2 nights; at check‑in we were offered two 20 € vouchers to eat at the hotel pub or restaurant. We had access to the large indoor pool with towels, a small heated indoor pool, and at least four small heated outdoor pools. Additionally, we received free unlimited passes to various activities in the town centre, including the ski lift, a kids’ rope course, and other games that would otherwise cost money. The hotel has two large elevators and air‑conditioning that can be adjusted from the rooms. Honestly, I don’t understand some of the negative reviews.
The hotel is well‑located and the room is large and comfortable, but the Wi‑Fi was very slow while I was there for work.
