We stopped at this hotel for one night on the way to a cruise from Hamburg, and the warm welcome at check‑in already showed that it’s run like a family. The rooms were comfortable and the hearty breakfast pleased us, and the location close to the motorway makes it great for travelers on the move.

The hotel has excellent organization, the owners are very friendly, there’s always parking available, and it’s close to the highway.

The building is very pretty and the staff are very friendly; I was also happy to get a bed with a firm mattress. There was no air conditioning, which is fine for me, but it might be a bother in summer.
