The breakfast was truly delicious, and walking to the grassmarket took only 6‑7 minutes. The room’s cleanliness, the pool, and the sauna were all very enjoyable. However, it was annoying that this chain hotel didn’t leave a towel in the rooms. I also had issues with the bathroom: the toilet was a tiny space right at the door, and even closing the door was a hassle. After using the toilet, you have to leave that room and go to another one where the shower and bathtub are separate, which is a frustrating design flaw.

The location was perfect, but the carpet in the room wasn’t clean; something had been spilled on the floor and it hadn’t been properly cleaned.

“Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, wir waren aber kaum im Hotel sondern viel auf Sightseeing. Für dies ist das ein Hotel mit”

The proximity to Castel, the Royal Mile, and Princess Road was great. The room was extremely small for four people. There were no bathrobes or sandals for the pool; you had to buy those separately. The hotel’s revolving door at the entrance was never fixed, apparently. The windows in our room were already warped, and the dents on the doors were just lightly painted over.

The location and facilities were good, but checking in at 3 pm was inconvenient when you’re traveling with pets.
