The layout was nice and I was surprised to find a working jacuzzi tub. The place was a wreck: carpet missing, walls a disaster, furniture falling apart, pillows the worst—machine‑washed and left to dry with a clump of stuffing in a sack, and the bedding was dirty.

The location was great and convenient for the university. I booked a reservation two months ago, confirmed with Ms. Lanford the week before, but on the day of arrival I found the room was a single bed instead of the double I had reserved. I returned to the front desk, where the staff treated me disrespectfully and called a fake property owner named Nick, who claimed he owned the property and that nothing could be done. There were no double bedrooms in the entire hotel.

The price and location were good, but that was it. I ran into many problems: the room still looked occupied, there was a June bottle, two glasses, food, and a full trash bin; the next room had a terrible smell. I had to leave because I was scared.
