“Tolle Lage”

The location was very quiet and secluded. The bedroom was great, but the kitchen and bathroom were not, because there were no natural light sources and too little space (this should be changed by a renovation). That somewhat spoiled the huge terrace for everyone, even though privacy was not provided. But the view, especially from the sauna – gigantic – and the fact that the sauna is booked separately for each room made everything more than worth it. As already mentioned, the kitchen and bathroom fell a bit short due to size and darkness. It was, however, well moderated by the friendly and accommodating nature of the host.

The location was convenient, with most tourist attractions within a one‑hour drive. A car is almost mandatory, as it is for most other places in the region. A shuttle bus can bring you close to the nearby train station, but we didn’t use it, and it has specific times. The view was very nice, and the building was modern, spacious, and clean. The woman working there, Nadiia, was very warm and hospitable. We found missing amenities: only one roll of toilet paper for two people over eight days, no soap, shampoo, or body gel in the bathroom, and the dish‑washing sponge was falling apart. Check‑out was very early at 09:00, and check‑in had specific times. When we arrived, we had to wait about 45 minutes because the owners were returning, even though we’d informed them we’d arrive between 18:00 and 19:00. We were asked to dispose of our own garbage in the bin next to the building, which felt odd since we’ve never been asked to do that elsewhere. An extra room and bathroom were locked off. We had our own room and bathroom, but it seemed strange that part of the property was inaccessible, which was slightly unsettling.

“Tolle Ferienwohnung in herrlicher Lage! Erholung pur!”

A spacious holiday apartment in a hillside location with a stunning view! Very clean, high‑quality furnishings, a great balcony, and a lovely sun terrace! The area is very quiet, there’s a parking spot right in front of the door, and you can use the panoramic sauna for a small fee. The host couple were very friendly and helpful. Totally relaxing! The downside is that because of the cattle barn nearby, there are flies… real country life. ☺️ The kitchen doesn’t offer much storage space, but it’s enough for quick meals. A few more glasses would be great. 👍🏻

The location, space, cleanliness, and quietness were great, but the apartment was infested with flies because of the nearby stable; a fly screen at the door and windows would have solved the issue.

“Soggiorno in località tranquilla, con bella vista su Valdaora di mezzo.”

The apartment had two rooms and two bathrooms spread over two floors, plenty of space, spotless, with a panoramic view of Valdaora, and the family was friendly and welcoming; the parking in front of the house was very convenient. The mattresses were a bit too soft for our taste, everything else was fine, and you need a car for any excursion since the farm is halfway up Valdaora near the Furcia pass.
