The hotel has plenty of issues, yet it seems they’re trying; clean white towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and soap, plus spotless white bed sheets. I checked for bedbugs and found none. A few cockroaches appeared in the hotel, but none inside my room. It feels more like an art and history gallery than a traditional hotel.
Not much music, and the music that was there felt old‑fashioned.
This is the most luxurious, vintage, and unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The place’s incredible history and atmosphere show in every detail, and knowing that Edith Piaf once stayed here adds extra charm. The old‑world allure makes you feel like stepping back in time, and the ambiance is unforgettable. Hot water arrives after a short wait, which is normal for such a historic building. The staff are kind, warm, and welcoming, making the stay even better. I give it a solid 10/10.
The building is art‑deco from the 1920s, well preserved with fantastic décor and cleanliness. A friendly family runs it, giving personal attention. I stayed a few days, and everything was great: a large room with a balcony, comfortable bed and pillows, and cleaning on request. The heart of the old town is right there, lively every day, and the central market is nearby. A cool spot for Casablanca, especially if you know what you’re after.
The spot and most of the team were friendly, but the receptionist named Aziz was neither courteous nor respectful toward older guests and seemed to take advantage of me; also, there was no Wi‑Fi anywhere except at the front desk.
