The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with four rooms, a kitchen that had a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, plus a terrace with a lovely valley view; host Namita was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the shops and restaurants on The Mall were a short walk away, while The Ridge, the main tourist area of Shimla, was not far.

The location was excellent for walking to most sights in either direction, food options were nearby, the train station was within walking distance, the valley and hill views were great, and there was plenty of private space; Namita was always ready to help and delivered our breakfasts each morning, and there were no problems.

The place was lovely, very clean, and the host was nice; she supplied breakfast and the view over the rolling hills of Shimla was great, but in December the room felt a bit cold for my partner who is sensitive to chill.
