Breakfast was good. It wasn’t mentioned in the booking that the bathroom and toilet were shared with the occupants of the neighboring room, but otherwise it was fine.

The short stay was great, thanks to Martine’s charming welcome. Communication was easy, adaptable, and kind; everything was provided. The place is very pretty and will look even better in good weather. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and everything was nicely decorated and available (slippers, towels, glasses, water carafe, Wi‑Fi password). Breakfast was just as perfect as everything else, featuring regional products and the hostess’s kindness.

I stayed for just one night and it was spot on for a quick stopover; the host Martine was incredibly friendly and the dogs were a highlight. The breakfast was generous, and there was no real issue with the lack of an en suite bathroom. My GPS misdirected me initially—don’t rely solely on the postcode—but following the host’s directions worked out fine.

I came to sleep and ended up meeting people; the place feels more like a living space than just a building, a cozy cocoon among the trees where you feel comfortable. It could still be improved, but it’s already excellent.
