The staff were helpful, but the building itself feels worn out and doesn't match the photos online.
“Great location, good vibe, on a budget”
Great spot—right where I wanted to be, and the staff were attentive. The room itself was surprisingly roomy for the price. The only let‑down was that the cleanliness left something to be desired.
Location was spot on, close to everything I needed. I missed that the rooms don’t have air‑conditioning, which was a surprise once I arrived. The showers were a nightmare—rusty, possibly moldy, and honestly made me nervous to use them.
The staff were upbeat and genuinely helpful, and the room felt spacious and cozy. Unfortunately, the mattress was rock‑hard, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The hallways and shared spaces were cluttered, with stuff piled up in corners, which took away from the overall vibe.
“Bad value”
The place is smack‑dab in a handy location, which made getting around a breeze. Noise was a constant issue; people were still shouting outside at 2 am, and the lobby receptionist, Lulu, came off as rude and intrusive. The building shows its age—no recent renovations, and the price rivals a clean luxury hostel. Supposedly it’s a 35‑plus crowd, yet older long‑term residents act like it’s their private home, making the atmosphere feel a bit territorial.
