Perfect for a night in Heraklion, though the air conditioning was unnecessary for that time of year.

“It's a good hostel to stay if in Heraklion.”

The girls running the place are some of the nicest people; we always had a good time with them. They made sure the bathrooms and rooms stayed clean and smelled fresh. The women’s showers had an external wooden door and a bench for clothes and toiletries, which made the area very convenient. Curtains were a nice touch, the location was central, and the rooftop was a welcome addition. However, the hostel is very noisy: the AC in my room made the loudest noise I've ever heard from an AC, so we had to turn it off every night. The flush on the ground‑floor toilets was also noisy, though less bothersome than the AC. The wireless charger by my bedside didn't work, and a USB‑C port would have been better. A hairdryer in the bathroom would help.

The hostel is perfectly located, and the rooftop bar is a nice touch. The volunteers working there are very friendly. Unfortunately, I found bed bugs in room D; the staff immediately offered a refund and moved me to a different room on another floor.

Everyone on the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, and the cleaning crew was separate and very meticulous. The dining kitchen was easy to use and naturally became a social spot, which was a lot of fun. There were no particular complaints.

I got bad itchy bites (bed bugs) from staying in Room D, Bed 2. I advised staff (through this site) to take steps to deal with this, urgently
