Everything was good, and there was nothing negative.

The room was very clean and spacious, though the toilet took a bit of getting used to; at least we didn’t have to share it with anyone else.

The place is beautiful, and the tent and bedding were clean. A private toilet, shower, and simple kitchen sit next to the tent, and the town itself is neat with a Co‑Op and a few restaurants. The eco toilet might not suit everyone, and there is no electricity.

The spot is ideal, family‑friendly, and great for a quick getaway; following owner Ian’s suggestion, we visited the local gold mine and the kids loved the gold‑mining activity. The tent was extremely clean and comfortable for our family of five. It was exactly what I expected, and during the heat wave it was understandable that we couldn’t identify the danger; I have no negative comment, and the owners made a sensible decision.
