“Regulaer”
We appreciated the staff member who helped us the next day, a housekeeper named Berta and her sister ran everything, but they weren’t there. From the moment we arrived we wanted to see room Berta, but she wouldn’t let us; she first tried to charge us and then let us look… we had no choice but to accept or risk a penalty from Booking for not staying at that hotel, which we clearly wouldn’t have chosen. The room wasn’t that dirty, but the curtain was broken, the remaining one was thin, and we had a lot of street light, city center noise, and the morning alarm from the adjacent garage with its car entry and exit alarms. The room faced the sidewalk, so we basically slept on the street.
