Parkhotel Neustadt is situated in Neustadt, within the scenic Saxon Switzerland Nature Park. The hotel is 50 metres from the Mariba baths and 45 minutes from Dresden. Rooms feature flat-screen TVs, desks, and private bathrooms. A communal sauna and luggage storage are available. The hotel offers free parking, and guests can enjoy cycling and hiking in the surrounding area.

Friendly and helpful staff explained in detail where to pick up the keys and how the stay would be organized, even though we arrived late. The breakfast was very good and generous, offering something for every taste.

We were very satisfied and would recommend this hotel again. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean, newly renovated, and the windows could be left closed at night while still enjoying a good indoor climate. We found the location fantastic, with a great leisure pool across the street—its parking could be shared—nearby a Lidl, a bakery, and a tasty small butcher shop. It also served as a great starting point for sights such as the Königstein Fortress. The restaurant Seinerzeit, which is inside the hotel, is absolutely overhyped on Google. We did not enjoy the dishes, and what was most unpleasant was the staff. They were unfriendly and dishonest—when we were turned away because everything today and the following days was fully booked and without a reservation there was no chance to get a table. Within five minutes of that statement I managed to make an online reservation and was able to eat there fifteen minutes later. Other guests in the hotel also told us how unkindly they were turned away.

The place was very clean with friendly staff, yet there was no elevator to the Superior rooms, car parking was shared with buses, there was no safe in the room, and the TV was about 20 years old.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was otherwise fine; the breakfast was great, with no complaints and the price was top. The reception staff were terribly unfriendly or even absent, except at breakfast where they were attentive and polite. The room was too warm and smelled of paint. I couldn’t sleep because of a party on Saturday and the hotel was full of drunk people. It was an absolute no‑go, and on top of that a bus was parked on the hotel lot and we were told we could park 200 m away—definitely not acceptable if you booked a hotel with parking.
