Everything about the stay was great—from the front desk to the room to breakfast. Even with the hotel fully booked, everything was first class.

The location in downtown Utica is excellent and gives easy access to the route to Cooperstown, which mattered because I was attending the weekend's Induction Ceremonies. The pool, a key reason I chose the hotel, was unavailable during my stay, and they directed me to a nearby hotel's pool, which was small and not what I was looking for.

The only bright spot was ordering turkey clubs from the restaurant, which were very good. The room was very old, the bathroom tiny, and there was a lot of noise at night both inside and outside the hotel. I’m not sure why they empty their dumpster at night on top of everything else. This hotel has seen better days and needs a renovation.
