The location is on the south side of the lake, which adds a 45‑minute drive compared to the north. However, it is the best Yurt camp I would say. The toilets and facilities are really good.

A truly atmospheric spot with friendly staff! The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff organized a horse‑ride excursion that we really enjoyed. For the night, the yurts are heated by stoves, so evenings stay warm. The blanket keeps the cold morning at bay. Highly recommend!

The view is great and the yurts feel authentic, but the transport is a nightmare. The hotel can arrange service for a reasonable fee, yet you’re left at the mercy of local drivers. A round‑trip ride costs about $200. When you arrive, meals are only included with breakfast; other dishes are extra and you’re told you can’t eat elsewhere, so they charge roughly $20 per person. Staff seem uninterested, acting as if they’re there to have fun rather than help. If your driver can’t return, you still pay for their expenses. You can ride a horse for a fee, but the animals are weak and poorly maintained, making you feel sorry for them. Don’t believe the $60 room rate; with transportation you end up paying $300 for two people.

The area was pleasant and the shower and toilet facilities exceeded our expectations, but the food price was steep—soup and vegetables cost 1000 Kyrgyz som. Communication among staff was lacking; they would randomly walk into our yurt while we slept. Horse riding turned out to be a rip‑off: the horses were untrained, kept returning to their stalls, and we were charged for a full hour even though we rode only 30 minutes and the horse stopped. The last night we asked staff to light the stove for warmth, they said it would be fine, but after 30 minutes it went off and we were cold all night. We booked a 4‑bed yurt but were put in a 2‑bed one and were told it was our responsibility to notice; staff were friendly but didn’t coordinate well.

The location is fantastic right by the shores of Song Kol Lake, and we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon there. The bathrooms and toilets were very clean, but the food was not very good for 1000 som.
