Communication was fine. There was no kettle or tea‑making facilities in the room, which may not have been listed but is usual. The bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous guests. It was noisy outside until late, and I could hear the guy in the next room snoring and coughing, which disturbed me.
The house’s equipment is good. The bathrooms are unpleasant. The beds are very noisy and the mattresses uncomfortable. There are no towel hangers in the bathroom. Also, the door latch is poorly installed; the doors should open more.
The shared kitchen was spacious, but the room itself was tiny and old, and I couldn't get out of bed because of a slanted wall and roof. We only received one hand towel even though we booked for two people. It was scorching inside; we could open the window, but the wind from the garden blew in a strong smell of smoke. The house felt very dated and was not clean, with the floor covering visibly stained.
The accommodation has a washing machine and is not far from the train station. It lies in a bad part of town.
