“Erg slecht, niet boeken!”
The bungalow looked nice from the outside. Reception was fine and scooters were delivered neatly to the house. Breakfast was set on your balcony in the morning and was simple but good. The bedding was moldy and dirty. The bathroom was very old and filthy, with a floor that looked like a puddle. The shower head barely produced water and was covered in limescale. A mosquito net over the bed was too bright to look at. We stayed for 3 nights and received only one towel per person, with no cleaning in between. The air‑conditioner gave off a foul fishy smell. The pool was not cleaned and was dirty. All night you hear roosters crowing, dogs barking, and children crying, on a busy road. The neighbor’s cat poops in the garden, which is full of weeds and not maintained. Cockroaches and large geckos walked through your room.
