The hostel was closed and abandoned; I had paid, and on the day I was supposed to use it, it was shut. I drove 530 kilometres from Sesimbra, Portugal, and had to book another hotel at the last minute—what a sad situation.

The place is gone—it's a ruin, nothing else to say.

We booked two months ahead, were charged correctly, and then the place was shut for renovations; the owner claimed Booking had notified them, while Booking said no one had. Both sides were terrible, a shame.

The location was quiet and away from the village, but the beds were uncomfortable and it seems Booking's communication with them is poor; luckily the manager was on site, otherwise I would have been stuck.

The food was fine, but the bathroom wasn't in the room.
