At 71, traveling alone, I was thrilled by the balcony view and the short drive to Cooktown’s main street; parking was easy and the walk to the room had no stairs. The kitchen was well-equipped with cereal, toast, and more, so I never had any issues. The place was quiet, safe, and the neighboring room was occupied by a couple, which added a bit of lively atmosphere.
