The space is good and quiet, ideal for spending a few days with kids. The breakfast bread is excellent, and the pastries are always delicious too. I didn’t see the hosts, but they were always available on the phone. I think fruit is missing from the breakfast, and there are no pool or outdoor toys. Otherwise, everything is fine.

“Três noites na Casa da Burra”

We stayed at Casa da Burra and found a very clean space that comfortably fits three people. The team’s friendliness and availability are worth highlighting. It’s a great spot for those seeking a quiet stay in a natural setting. Every morning they left fresh bread and Portuguese sweets at the house. For animal lovers, there’s a resident donkey and occasional visits from gentle dogs. There’s a badminton net and a slide and swing for kids. The pool can feel small when it’s full.

“Descanso no Casal do Surdo”

The location is great, with guaranteed quiet and all the conditions for a pleasant few days. Breakfast items were excellent and they respected my lactose‑free request. Fresh bread every day was a delightful moment at the doorstep, and there were a few treats during the stay. I appreciated the adapter for the electrical outlet. The air conditioning works perfectly. I would have liked a lamp on each bedside table.

The place is truly exceptional! Breakfast was fresh, and we were treated to beautiful, tasty figs. The owners are always attentive and easy to reach. Chiquita is wonderfully friendly and caring (if you want to know who Chiquita is, book and you won’t regret it 😅). We’ll definitely come back!
