The bedroom was spotless and the air‑conditioner worked perfectly; the neighbors were friendly, even offering smiles and a cat that rubbed against me, which felt like genuine kindness after being constantly approached for business in Bali. However, the plumbing was dirty, the water treatment was poor, and the pressure was weak, so if you plan to shower often it might be better to use the pool or a massage outside.

The room was adequate, but I paid extra for breakfast expecting a decent meal, only to find the portions minuscule; when we requested a larger egg they demanded an additional fee, which seemed unfair. After the hotel refused a refund, I had to involve Booking to finally get my money back, and we left disappointed with the poor service and pricing fairness.

After injuring my ankle ligaments, the owner and his wife immediately arranged an Indonesian massage that helped me recover; they took good care of me throughout, and I hope to return next year.
