The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, particularly at the breakfast area, where they were extremely helpful in arranging an early breakfast at 6 am.
The cleanliness was impeccable, with everything spotless, and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet.

The hotel is near Brugg’s historic centre, which I enjoyed exploring day and night, reachable quickly from the station, with several nearby restaurants and shops; breakfast was plentiful, the staff friendly and efficient, the room simple but functional, the mattress rather firm, and there was a small desk for work.
Breakfast was good and plentiful with excellent coffee, but the facilities felt a bit old and worn.
Nice staff, good location (city centre and old town easily reachable). The hotel is very old and simple, pretty large, and you feel a bit lost. It had a cigarette smell. Breakfast had limited options, but it was okay.
Everything was fine, I already knew it, and there was nothing else to mention.

The location was very good, right in the city centre yet very quiet; we especially liked a swim in the Aare at a beautiful spot below the bridge with flow downstream and closer to the riverbank upstream—great! We didn’t use breakfast because we left at 6:30 am on the tandem due to impending rain. We suffered from the heat, which persisted at night even with the window open, and the fan didn’t work.
