The games room was a fantastic addition, and there was also a gym. I just wish they had a pool.

The hotel and room were very good, and the staff and included breakfast were great. This place serves as a transit stop between Camrose and any destination east of Oyen, which is a shame but understandable given the travel distances. There's not much to see or do nearby, and an indoor pool would be a huge benefit for travelers. I'd happily stay here again, but a little extra would be appreciated. The year has been extremely wet, and mosquitoes are a big nuisance everywhere. Without mosquito control, there's a limit to what people can do outside the hotel itself.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the bed was good and I slept well, and there was no noise. Breakfast was good and the staff were very accommodating. The downside was the long walk down the hallway to the room, which is a problem for someone with leg and walking issues.

The hotel was clean and close to the highway. However, there was no restaurant on site; we arrived in the evening and learned there was only fast food available, so we drove into the town of Oyen. The only local restaurant was tiny and short on staff, so it took 90 minutes to get a small take‑out order. It would have been much better to have a restaurant on site, especially after a long drive when you don't want to wait 90 minutes for mediocre food—and I hate fast food. There's also no pool, which would be great for relaxing in the evening. There's really nothing to do there; it's just a stop‑and‑sleep place with potential to be so much more.
