The place was clean, nicely kept, and the facilities were great, plus the location was beautiful. Nothing to complain about.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy; everything we needed was there. Parking was brilliant and not far away, and the hotel’s location was amazing—everything we wanted to do was just a short drive. However, our shower had a leaking seal, and there was no one at reception when we tried to report it after check‑out. The drinks we ordered with our evening meal were forgotten; I had to chase them up and was told the order hadn’t been handed in, then had to wait a fair amount of time after my partner received their water for my coke, which was disappointing. I also requested mayonnaise with my meal and had to wait a fair amount of time for that too. I paid for the ultimate spa package assuming the spa facilities were included, but had to pay extra for the massage. The massage was provided by a third‑party company that was brilliant, and I couldn’t fault Nicky in any way; it’s just a shame they don’t advertise that massages cost extra.

The staff were great and helpful, but the rooms looked very tired and were not clean.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There were cobwebs in the room.

“Disappointing for the price paid.”

The location and grounds are nice, but this was the second time I stayed here and the room was dirty—stains on the bed, dust on the sides, a spill on the headboard that could have been cleaned but wasn’t, and the bathroom clearly wasn’t cleaned properly.
