The hosts, Isabell and her parents, are incredibly friendly and attentive; you feel at home right away, and the breakfast on their gorgeous terrace overlooking the Chiemsee is simply sensational.

The view is fantastic, the people are nice, the room is good, the Wi‑Fi is acceptable, and the coffee is the best in Germany. The breakfast was a bit pricey, though you could order bread and make your own; the bed was comfortable but the wood at the end annoyed us because we couldn’t sit and read in it.

The place is quiet and the landlords are very kind and helpful. I was misled by a photo and didn’t check the satellite view beforehand, so I thought the house had its own lake access, but the actual waterway is 800 m away with a Dixie toilet.

I spent a lovely, relaxing time at the Moier Lex Hof. The staff are great, the furnishings are lovely, and the care is attentive. I was allowed to check into my room early, which let me do a bit more. The garden and the view from my room were beautiful.
