“Comfortable and cosy accommodation for a walking holiday.”

Stag Lodge was well‑appointed and comfortable; we especially liked the hot tub and the fully automated dishwasher. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The place was quiet, had lovely views, and was convenient for Much Wenlock. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of walking, making for a very enjoyable weekend. No complaints – it worked fine for four single ladies sharing for a weekend.

The room was clean, spacious, and had everything you could need. It’s ideal for children and families, the hosts were very welcoming, and I would definitely recommend it and come back.

The place is well-equipped and offers everything you could possibly need, and the view is stunning, making the stay enjoyable for everyone. It would have been better if a tea towel or dish cloth had been supplied.

The location is fantastic, the outdoor area is great, and the kitchen is fully equipped; the hot tub is amazing and the property is dog friendly. One of the outdoor chairs was broken, a few cleaning details were overlooked but overall it was very clean, there were a few marks and a dent in the bath, and a couple of mattresses were too soft for some of us, though that’s just a matter of personal preference.

From start to finish we loved every minute of Stag Lodge; upon arrival we asked if it could be decorated for Christmas and received a big thank you, and the complimentary gifts were very kind. The place was spotless and tidy, the hot tub was great and warm, the countryside was idyllic, the children enjoyed visiting the on‑site animals with carrot sticks, and I would definitely recommend the lady Helen, whose hard work keeps the lodges in top shape; we will definitely book again.
