Everything was magical; we visited in summer but the village is a winter destination, so we were among the few, mainly our group that booked three rooms and a few other very quiet tourists, and everything was great. The owner was very courteous and welcoming, the breakfast was served in a nearby dining hall, the rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, with a wintery, Christmas‑style vibe. The courtyard was fantastic; we escaped the summer heat and were at 19 degrees on a Saturday night around a table chatting and laughing, with the hotel bar right next to us. A truly lovely experience, thank you!

The place was clean, easy to locate, and in a quiet spot. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. I would have preferred a softer mattress.

The large apartments and courteous staff were ready to accommodate guests. It’s an authentic mountain village with stone houses, and the location is excellent for hikers climbing Kajmakčalan.

We booked a Deluxe suite with a king‑size bed for five days because of some obligations at Metohi Inn, as the site claims. When we arrived we found a room that looked like it belonged to a previous era: a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room, Christmas décor everywhere, a dirty carpet with ants partying, a worn sofa bed, a scorpion that climbed onto my hand at night (luckily it didn’t bite, but I noticed it in time), windows without screens, rugs apparently never washed, shabby pillows that made sleeping impossible, a bathroom with a smelly shower, an exposed bathroom plug, mold in the shower, a broken hanging rod with no hooks, no discreet trash bin, and a health rating for four people over five days. There was one outlet in the living room and one in the bedroom, so we had to request a multi‑outlet adapter to get our work done. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet; each morning you were served fried eggs, baguette bread, cheese, high‑quality salami, jam, butter, and French coffee. This is not the first time we’ve visited winter destinations in summer, but we’ve never seen such neglect and filth before.

Even though the area is considered a winter destination, we went in August and it was very beautiful and peaceful. The room was nice and clean.
