The old hotel isn’t exceptional, yet it’s comfortable enough to sleep, which matters most, but the surrounding fields sometimes carried an unpleasant urine smell, possibly from farm animals.

The proximity to the airport was a plus—just a 7‑minute taxi for €30—and the staff were helpful, yet the location right on the highway made it inevitably very noisy.

The staff were friendly, but after 9 pm there was no food or drink available; I had to go to the neighbors, and the old furniture was a bit odd. When the shower was left on, the water flooded the whole bathroom. The airport connection cost €20, which is not 450 m but actually 10 km, so you have to drive via the highway.

Honestly, we chose it because it’s next to the airport, but that turned out useless since you absolutely need a car to get there, and a taxi/Uber from there for 6 km costs €25‑30—just like what Granada charges for the airport. The rooms are very old, the bathtub is rusted, and there’s a pretty nasty smell. When we asked for a taxi, they simply said it was difficult and basically told us to find our own way. Early in the morning, after leaving the keys, we asked the guy in front of the coffee machine for a coffee and he said he didn’t make coffee. The night‑time setting of the parking area feels creepy. On top of that, the air‑conditioning unit doesn’t work, which is a real disgrace.
