World Motel

The stores were nearby, but the room needed an update.

“I stayed there to commute to work and be in the streets. I was grateful for the stay.”

The location was fine for food, bus, and train access, but the owner was rude, the husband was kind, the wife was mean, and an older man was mean too; it wasn’t clean and there were roaches.

“Good place for a short stay but could do with a couple of improvements”

The location was decent, with shops, eateries, and the Lynwood Metro C station within walking distance. Checking in and out ran smoothly, and the front desk adjusted my keycard when I couldn’t open the door. Other guests kept noise low. The room had been pre‑cleaned and the bed was fairly comfortable. On the downside, stale tobacco lingered, the lighting was dim for reading or writing, and Long Beach Rd traffic was audible.

“It has Very small outdated infested rooms, great location, friendly staff”

The location was fine. Room #11 had roaches; when I mentioned it, the staff hesitated before moving me to a room attached to her living area, which had no roaches.
