The coffee was great, excellent! The Wi‑Fi was terrible, hard to connect, and totally impractical—definitely the worst service.

The breakfast and service were good, almost 100% satisfied. I asked to switch to a room with two single beds because I was traveling with a friend, but the staff said it wasn’t possible, just flatly refusing without any discussion or explanation.

The cleaning was flawless—top score! The value for money was great. Nothing else to note.

Central location is great, right next to all the sights we visited. We had no major issues aside from the occasional petty thefts that happen in the area, so a bit of caution is needed. Parking is close by (on the same block) and costs an extra 45 reais per day. Breakfast was good, with a coffee machine and fresh foods; not fancy, but it covered all the basics. We stayed in a quiet, spacious apartment with two bedrooms that had ceiling fans, a living room, and one bathroom. Air conditioning was only in the living room and there was a mini‑fridge. It’s a solid choice for large families. Even though the facilities are old, everything was very clean, well maintained, and there was no mold smell. The shower was a spray type, heated well, and had a strong jet. The front desk offered a tasty coffee and a water filter for guests. Two old elevators worked fine, and the place was easily accessible. Service was excellent and very friendly, especially Ivo. The only downsides were worn sheets that were a bit too small for the mattress and kept slipping off. Windows had no protective bars, which could be risky for families with kids, and the outlets were old and scarce in the rooms.
