Because of storm damage we couldn’t stay in the booked unit. The owner arranged for us to stay in a lovely self‑catering manor house. We went to the town to see the flowers, but they weren’t there. Apparently they had bloomed early this year, so we were disappointed, but we still enjoyed our stay.

The bed was spacious and comfortable, and every detail was catered to perfection; the courtyard featured many mature Kokerboom trees. However, the snoring of a guest next to us was incredibly loud and disrupted our much needed sleep after a long trip. We were in the first room on the left of the gate as you enter the driveway.
