The room was okay, not very clean, the mattress too small for the slatted bed, cramped, sticky floor that felt unhygienic; I ended up vacuuming the room and shared kitchen myself, though the shower was excellent. It was somewhat unhygienic and not very clean.

We felt very secure and comfortable; walking to the train station takes about 15 minutes and only one transfer gets you into Tokyo. Shared facilities stayed clean and other guests were quiet, but if you don’t want to walk that far you might prefer a spot closer to the centre; we liked the calm break from central Tokyo’s bustle.

This place felt more like home than a hotel, which I really appreciated. The shared kitchen is always spotless and tidy, and having a cooker, microwave and plenty of space to cook was a real treat, especially with nearby shops for all your Japanese cooking supplies. I couldn’t find anything to complain about—lovely tidy home in a quiet neighbourhood with good transport links. Thanks for hosting us! We’ll return 😁. We have no complaints at all.

The location turned out not to be far from what I expected, which was good. One floor had about five rooms, so you wouldn’t run into each other often and could stay comfortably. The room felt a bit narrow for two people with two suitcases, but it should be fine for short stays by travelers.
