Located 100 metres from Zion Square in Jerusalem, Eyal Hotel by Smart Hotels offers modern rooms with free WiFi since its 2014 opening. The Great Synagogue is 600 metres away. Air-conditioned rooms feature minibars, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms with hairdryers and toiletries. On-site parking is available, and the Time Elevator is within 200 metres. Ben Gurion Airport is 48 km away, making it a convenient base for exploring Jerusalem.

The location is superb and the breakfast is excellent. New guests should be warned that in room 01 near the elevator, people sometimes try to fall asleep after a walk and lunch.

The breakfast was very good until the Sabbath; the hotel is very suitable for Orthodox Jews but not for tourists. I had to leave my credit card behind even though I had already paid, and the manager scolded me. The hotel was a disappointment for me.

The location is fantastic, and breakfast is also very good and varied. My room was on the 5th floor with a great view. More fresh fruit at breakfast would be nice; the bath towels were 'wrinkled' and left something to be desired. The smell from parallel streets, due to trash cans and public toilets, was noticeable. Some reception staff were not very friendly, and unfortunately, nearby construction disrupted traffic a bit, making access slightly difficult.
